Securing over £3.3m for Merseyside

I promised I’d stand up for Merseyside and take our call for more funding right to the heart of Government.

That’s exactly what I’ve done and secured more than £3.3 from central Government for some really valuable projects, which will provide extra support for vulnerable victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse and crackdown on crime, particularly in hotspot areas.

But I know this funding does not go far enough and so I’m continuing to work with partners to identify more funding sources to ensure all vulnerable victims, especially victims of domestic abuse and hate crime, get the support they need.
