I was really proud this month to be officially recognised by the Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage employer. It’s more important than ever that staff get paid a fair wage for the work they do. It was a commitment I made to deliver in my first year of office and so I’m pleased to have been able to work with the unions at Merseyside Police to make this happen.
