A Challenging Month

November has been an extremely challenging month for Merseyside –  first with the horrific terrorist incident outside Liverpool Women’s Hospital and then the tragic deaths of two women in Liverpool on one day – Malak Adabzadeh, 47, and 12-year-old Ava White.

These incidents have shocked and devastated us all, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. There is clearly a lot more work to be done to tackle serious violence and keep our communities safe.

As ever in times of adversity and tragedy, Merseyside pulled together.

We support each other at times of difficulty.

We stand together as one.
