£4m of extra investment into Merseyside

During my election I committed to fighting to get as much funding and investment into Merseyside as I could. Since I took office, I have successfully brought £4m of additional grants  to fund essential victim support and crime prevention initiative.

This funding is providing a vital lifeline to services that have seen huge increases in demand. However, these services cannot rely on short term grants and I continue to call for sustainable, long term funding from central government.
